Com d’Archi S1#10: Finding the Equation

Podcast

Season 1, episode 10: Finding the Equation!

The podcast series Com d’Archi is presented by Anne-Charlotte Depondt, a doctor in the history of architecture, a communications specialist, and author. For the past four seasons, in addition to stories from architects, specialists, artists, and contractors, it has featured stories from all the people who contribute in one way or another to the discipline of architecture. Each episode takes a discerning look at our heritage, as much as architecture and the challenges of tomorrow. Topics include innovation, cultural value, ecology, use value, durability, and constructive value, and the show features builders through the ages and of all ages, women and men engaged in this extraordinary craft.

In this first series, Franck Boutté explains how he started out, making his way from being a wannabe engineer to finding architecture running through his veins, in a country (France) where the two professions have a somewhat ambiguous relationship. He explains how, with his teams and through iconic projects, he has developed a culture of cross-fertilization through his pursuit of correlated effects.

This first interview precedes a second one: S1#11 Interview Part II Franck Boutté: the Studio’s Projects!
