Video
For the occasion of the first LBBA-LabClimat Festival, agency LBBA-Architecture welcomed architects, developers, engineers, philosophers, designers, and journalists for a day of talks on the challenges facing architecture in the age of climate change.
LBBA Architecture is an artisanal practice with a global vision. A successful firm with an agency approach, it brings together the talents it attracts, is conscious of the architect’s social responsibility, and is deeply attached to the community aspect, bringing together expertise in architecture, urban planning, design, and landscaping.
In October 2022, Franck Boutté was invited to LBBA-LabClimat Festival to talk about urban heat islands which, aggravated by heatwaves, sparks questions about the scale of the city as well as the region.
For Atelier Franck Boutté, which seeks to invent new solutions and takes an objective look at ways to combat urban heat islands (UHI), effectively combating UHI means being aware of the design challenges associated with UHI from the very first pencil strokes on the page.
