Pavillon Haussmann HD 1

Archetypal Haussmann-style Apartment Building

More than 100 drawings, plans, photographs, and models gave visitors fresh insight into this important piece of French architectural heritage at multiple scales. The Paris Haussmann exhibition examined and spotlit the current potential of the Parisian urban model through the lens of the issues and challenges facing the city of tomorrow.

Conceived as a multi-faceted event, Paris Haussmann offered a program of activities and events in connection with the exhibition theme aimed at a variety of audiences, including conferences and debates, guided tours, urban walks, late night openings, events in partnership with the Carnavalet Museum, and a unique workshop-cum-show Dans le bureau du Baron for the youngest visitors, offering a fun and educational glimpse into the French capital’s Haussmannian heritage.
