On June 19, 2025, the Métamorphose building, recently completed on the Quai Saint-Serge site in Angers, was officially inaugurated in the presence of Christophe Béchu, Mayor of Angers and President of Angers Loire Métropole, as well as executives from the Giboire Group. This inauguration marks a major milestone in the urban renewal of this strategic area of the city.

Winner of the Imagine Angers competition in 2018, Métamorphose embodies a strong vision driven by the Giboire Group: to create a multi-purpose space designed for a lively, accessible and shared city.

  • 15,000 m² of office space
  • 76 co-living units
  • An event greenhouse open to the city
  • Shops, gyms, restaurant, coworking spaces

Designed by Hamonic + Masson & Associés, Métamorphose stands out for its expressive architecture and rich programming, imagined as a living organism in dialogue with its environment.

The environmental design was carried out by Atelier Franck Boutté, with a focus on:

  • thermal performance in accordance with RT2012,
  • control of the building envelope (Bbio ≤ Bbiomax, Cep ≤ Cepmax),
  • user comfort (natural lighting, air quality, summer comfort),
  • sharing of uses, spaces, and resources

Thank you to all our partners and to the Giboire Group, which has supported this ambitious project in all its dimensions, from the first pencil stroke to delivery!
