"Environmental Performance & Economic Sustainability: Stakeholders Get Engaged"

Nantes, 13.06.2023

Format 2

In June, Atelier Franck Boutté took part in the launch event for the collaborative program initiated by actors in the Nantes Métropole entitled “Environmental Performance & Economic Sustainability: Stakeholders Get Engaged.”

A wide range of topics were addressed, including rehabilitation, reversibility, bio- and geo-based materials, reuse, and the role of plants, in a series of discussions and workshops.

“A fascinating morning, full of fantastic sessions in which we got to compare points of view on how to solve the equation: real estate (carbon) sobriety versus the growing need for housing (in particular) in Nantes Pays de la Loire. The discussions within the groups I partook in focused more particularly on reuse, straw as a material, intensity of uses, and the desirable city.”
Cyril Tron de Bouchony, project manager at our Grand Ouest office

The event was organized by Nantes Métropole Aménagement, FPI des Pays de la Loire, Union sociale pour l’habitat, Samoa, LOD - LOMA, Loire-Atlantique développement, Nantes Métropole, Nantes Métropole Habitat, and NOVABUILD.
