« Pour une réhabilitation massive (et de bon sens) », a manifesto to read in Le Moniteur
Paris, 15.07.2025

As part of a collective of committed professionals (architects, engineers, researchers, teachers, and entrepreneurs), we aim to contribute to the large-scale, relevant, and demanding renovation of single-family homes.
Faced with the climate and social emergency, our collective of committed professionals (architects, engineers, researchers, teachers, and entrepreneurs) reiterates the urgent need to refocus policies on existing buildings, integrate summer comfort, and focus on comprehensive, sustainable approaches rooted in real-world uses.
We propose a concrete roadmap:
- Finance and structure a comprehensive approach to renovation
- Rethink the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) as an operational management tool
- Encourage passive and low-carbon solutions
- Work as a team: architects, design offices, and companies
- Provide training in passive and bioclimatic methods and sustainable, low-carbon materials
- Share architectural culture, particularly with regard to comfort and health
