In 2023, Elioth by egis published its France Carbon Emissions Map. After developing BBCA Quartier and Quartier Energie Carbone, two methods for measuring and evaluating low-carbon practices at the district level, the Elioth team, whose members include Rémi Babut, former project manager at Atelier Franck Boutté, is taking things even further with its interactive map of France showing the carbon footprint per capita. This map reflects a multitude of indicators, which help highlight “the wide variability in the carbon footprint between regions and between people.”
