“3 Post-Carbon Districts”
Paris, 19.04.2023

Until August 20, the Pavillon de l’Arsenal is presenting three Parisian development projects that are being built on vast swaths of land freed up by the optimization of railway activities:
- Jardin des Mécanos (Paris 18 th arrondissement): Christian Biecher (architects-urban planners), SLA (landscape architects), TN PLUS (landscape architects), Setec tpi (urban planning consultancy), OASIIS (environmental consultancy)
- Hébert (Paris 18 th arrondissement): Laq (architects and urban planners), Osty & Associés (landscape architects), OGI (roads and utilities engineering firm), Elioth, by Egis (sustainable development engineering firm)
- Les Messageries (Paris 12 th arrondissement): RSHP (architects-urban planners), Tolila + Gilliland (associate architects), MICHEL DESVIGNE PAYSAGISTE (landscape designer), Ingérop (urban engineering consultancy), Atelier Franck Boutté (environmental engineering)
These represent rare opportunities to regenerate the city by handing back generous common spaces and landscape belts, creating an urbanity that promotes new ways of working and living and giving a new face to SNCF’s heritage through its conversion, placing its history in time.
Thank you to Espaces Ferroviaires and Pavillon de l’Arsenal for giving us the opportunity to speak at the end of this exhibition! And to Marion Waller, Julien Pansu, Marianne Carrega, Jean-Sébastien Lebreton, Fadia Karam, and Jérôme Chiaramonti for their help and support.
Huge congratulations to our team for their work on Les Messageries and especially to Sonia Bouafia for her presentation to the press.
