First stone laid at Alma Petra

Lyon, 21.05.2025

Perspectives Alma Petra

In Lyon, in the Girondins ZAC (7th arrondissement), the laying of the first stone marks the start of the Alma Petra construction project. Designed by Atelier Architecture Perraudin and Girin & Marie Architectes, this program comprising 145 housing units and 425 m² of retail space is based on a strong architectural and environmental approach, with cut stone playing a central role.

The project has opted for cut stone, a low-carbon, sustainable, and environmentally friendly material. 8,000 blocks, representing 3,000 m² of façade, will be used, saving 60 to 75% of CO₂ emissions compared to a concrete façade. These prefabricated elements generate no waste on site and guarantee comfort in summer.

Its combination with wood further enhances its thermal qualities.

A sober, bioclimatic design approach guides the project, ensuring a sustainable, elegant and economical living environment.

Designed to accommodate a diverse range of residents, the program includes:

  • 40 social housing units for Lyon Métropole Habitat,
  • 21 intermediate rental units for Alliade Habitat,
  • 34 units under the Bail Réel Solidaire scheme, via La foncière solidaire du Grand Lyon.

Delivery is scheduled for early 2027.
