Climate Emergency at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie
Paris, 16.05.2023

The new Urgence Climatique (Climate Emergency) permanent exhibition at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris provides a broad panorama of the various mechanisms we can harness to balance decarbonization and adaptation in our societies. It aims to engage visitors and encourage them to get involved with the ecological transition, a project on a global scale.
Alongside other experts, Franck Boutté was asked by Universcience to take part in a video on the theme of “decarbonizing”, about the city, its problems and its solutions (How can we change the city to prepare it for the 2050 climate? How can we make it more carbon-efficient? Is the city beyond redemption?)
Comprising a fresco, interviews, animations, games, and data encouraging visitors to take action to shape a desirable future, this engaging exhibition covers an area of 2,000 m².
Anticipate... decarbonize... act!
Thank you to the scientific committee headed up by Jean Jouzel and made up of engaged experts, Bruno Maquart (President of Universcience) and Adrien Stalter (exhibition curator and museum project manager at Universcience).
