Regions of the Future

An advocacy tool developed by The Shift Project
Developed by The Shift Project and The Shifters volunteers group, Territoires au futur (Regions of the Future) is described as an “advocacy tool” which aims to make regions more resilient. Primarily aimed at decision-makers in mainland France and Overseas France (the 13 French territories outside Europe), this platform is a rich pool of local information, both known and current as well as predictions, based on action levers available to and usable by decision-makers, to transform regions and increase their resilience.
This data is presented as an interactive map, among other formats, which groups together the various indicators that then allows local decision-makers, and citizens too, to look ahead to the future of their regions and implement, with greater certainty and visibility, the actions needed to make our regions more resilient.
You can also search by town or city. You can then obtain specific information on land artificialization, greenhouse gas emissions, and local challenges in the search area.
