The Unbuildable Portion of Our Regions
Designing a city or a neighborhood guided by the geometry of the shade or the flow of air, arranging these spaces around efforts to restore the natural ecological cycles or the hydraulic structure... Human intervention, whether building from scratch or repairing what needs fixing, should be guided by the prior identification and preservation of the “voids” shaped by the natural elements that create balance.
Our studio invests in the original ecosystem of a site and advocates for the definition of an unbuildable framework of regions, set down as an inalienable and non-negotiable prerequisite to any operation.
